Moreover, it decreases the vibration when you are shooting as the quiver has two separate anchor points. This process allows the platform to be stable and solid. With the 2-Piece type, you have to mount it at the bottom and top of the bow riser. The plus side is that it is highly famous among shooters because most of them prefer their arrow and quiver to be removed from their bow before their shot. If you leave it on the bow, it will create a loud noise because of the vibration. These have only a single point of contact, and you should remove them before your shoot. If you use the 1-Piece type, you have to mount it over the bow sight. Keep in mind that each of them needs to be mounted in a different way. The detachable quiver is also known as 1-Piece, and the permanent one goes with the name 2-Piece. On the other hand, you have to remove the latter one with a wrench or other necessary tools. With the former one, you can easily remove it from the bow whenever your situation demands. It comes in two types, detachable and permanent. If you use a screen reader or any other assistive technology, we'd love to get your help testing past and future fixes by volunteering as an alpha tester and feeding back to our developers on the Tor forum. Since Tor Browser 11.5 we've refactored several components including bundled changelogs (about:tbupdate), the circuit display, the security level panel, miscellaneous dialogs and other parts of the browser chrome. This review has now been completed, and we're beginning to deploy the first fixes in what will be a multi-release effort to improve Tor Browser's accessibility. In parallel with longstanding efforts by Mozilla to improve Firefox's accessibility, we began an accessibility review of our own to document issues with Tor Browser for desktop's custom features. However Tor Browser also includes many custom pages and components on top of Firefox. We've also improved the visibility of the browser's connection status, which can now be found in the top-right of the browser window, and you'll notice a new connection icon appear throughout the browser too.Īs Tor Browser is based on the Extended Support Release of Firefox, we reuse as much of Firefox's front-end user experience as possible so that we can concentrate our resources on privacy and security issues. To remedy this, we've made the Connect button accessible in the address bar of any page you visit while offline, and Tor Browser will connect automatically after you've configured a bridge in Connection settings. Since that release, usability testing participants have sometimes had difficulty figuring out how to connect after navigating away from the Connect to Tor tab. This feature unlocked the added benefit of being able to access Tor Browser's other menus while offline, including Connection settings, which offers greater functionality than the equivalent Tor Launcher settings page ever did. In Tor Browser 10.5 for desktop we retired the Tor Launcher in favor of a new interface that allows users to connect to Tor from the browser window itself. Given that, it no longer makes sense to continue to represent onion sites with an icon so closely associated with Tor Browser, and we're excited to introduce their new identity today. ![]() Today, in addition to Tor Browser, you can also access onion services in compatible apps like Orbot, Onion Browser and Brave, to name a few. As onion service adoption has grown among civil society groups, human rights organizations, and news media outlets, so too has support for visiting onion services by third-party apps. It's important to recognize that onion services are not exclusive to Tor Browser, and are a product in their own right. Now, when you visit an onion site in Tor Browser 12.5 on either desktop or Android you'll notice something new. Previously, onion sites were represented by the onion-glyph – a tiny, flat version of Tor Browser's onion logo. In addition, relays now have flags to help make their locations easier to identify at a glance the design of onion site circuits has been made more concise SecureDrop users who visit a human-readable onion name can now see and switch back to the underlying V3 onion address and the panel as a whole has been rebuilt from scratch for better compatibility with screen readers. ![]() To fix this, we've moved the circuit display behind a colorful new icon that sits beside the padlock. Usability testing participants often struggled to find the circuit display when asked, and users generally needed to be taught where it lived. Up until this release the circuit display lived in the site information panel – meaning you'd have to click the padlock icon (or onion icon, in the case of onion sites) to the left of the address bar to access it. ![]() In Tor Browser for desktop, the Tor circuit for each of your tabs can be found in the circuit display. This collaboration has enabled us to refactor Tor Browser's build system, address numerous legacy issues and conduct an accessibility review of Tor Browser's custom components – which you can learn more about below. Secondly, in April we announced the launch of Mullvad Browser, a new privacy browser built by the Tor Project and distributed by Mullvad. During these workshops we documented pain points with our applications' user experience, and returned to validate potential solutions with Tor Browser Alpha in follow-up trips. Since 2021 we've provided digital security training to hundreds of journalists and human rights defenders in Brazil, Ecuador and Mexico alongside Guardian Project and Tails. Many of the features in this release were made possible thanks to two projects: Tor Browser 12.5 is now available from the Tor Browser download page and our distribution directory. ![]() ![]() ![]() I tended to go with the bass boost engaged - there's a button on the speaker to activate it - and found that the speaker delivers full sound with good clarity in the mids and highs and good bass definition. The speakers on this list all have rechargeable batteries and are considered portable speakers, though you may get a workout lugging some of these around. For a speaker that's travel-friendly with a portable design, you're going to want to invest in one of the top mini Bluetooth speakers, while those looking for a big sound from a speaker that packs a punch may find that a larger Bluetooth boom box or party speaker is the way to go. The speaker that's right for you all depends on your needs and listening habits. It's not only in terms of sound quality but also considering the best shape, size and build for you. ![]() And when it comes to choosing one, there are so many factors to consider. The latest Boom 3 has newer and slicker features, sure, but even three years on since its debut, the tidy Boom 2 delivers a well-rounded performance at a decent price that's worth looking out for. There is a huge variety of Bluetooth speakers on the market right now. Ultimate Ears has built on the success of its debut wireless speaker with added usability and improved performance, producing yet another winner with its Boom 2. The Boom, but better: that’s what it boils down to. Still, it will happily sprint along trouble-free at 80 per cent volume, which is still good for a party. We can vouch for it being louder than the original (not that it needed to be), though despite cramming in two larger drivers and passive radiators the Boom 2 still lets distortion creep in at the highest volume levels. State Of Mind, there’s tighter sync between the beat, piano loops and twinkly chimes. Mids and treble have more insight too and while it’s still lively rhythmically, its fancy footwork is that bit more surefooted. While it can’t chuck out the weight and power of the Megaboom, bass is better defined than on its predecessor. Underneath, the nimble strings have texture and rhythm and there’s more going on dynamically than you’d expect. That ease of delivery was a major pull of the original, but the successor moves things on with greater transparency. In Enya’s Caribbean Blue the ethereal waves of synths and layers of lush, cascading vocal harmonies ooze out of the Boom 2 effortlessly, with space and openness, never sounding strained or muddled. ![]() ![]() ![]() Stellar Data Recovery Technician creates an image of your hard drive that has bad sectors, and perform data recovery operation on the image itself. Still have the issue with the PC version of the game not differentiating between a pressed button vs a held down button. I've played around with a couple of different remappers and those don't seem to be helping either. So I'm getting a lot of undesired results, like boosting either before or after switching FA on or off, or switching nightvision on or off. The game on my PC is not recognizing the difference between momentarily pressing a button vs holding down a button and using in combo with another button. But also that the controller relies on button combos to perform ship control functions, (e,g., FA Off = circle+R1, Headlight/Nightvision = right arrow pad + circle, Supercruise = triangle + up arrow pad, etc). I think the issue is probably that it's a ps4 controller and not x-box. I'm still having trouble getting a ps4 controller to work on pc. Has anybody run into this and have a workaround? Another thing is when I remap the control to match how it was in ps4, the PC is adding a third control to be pushed, and sometimes those third buttons are kb buttons (like SPACE, L-ALT, R-CTRL). To the PC, pushing the button is pushing the button, regardless if you're pushing another control at the same time. PC doesn't seem to recognize the hold down button part. The problem is on ps4 (it has to be the same on x-box), you hold down the buttons (triangle, square, circle, and x) while pressing another control (direction pad or R&L pads) to control certain functions of the ship. Remapping the controller schema is pretty straight forward.or at least it should be. When I look at control presets, it's not at all laid out how it is in on ps4. ED is recognizing my ps4 dual shock controller as an option. I'm much more accustomed to using the ps4 controller than m&kb, so I thought I could set up my ps4 controller to use on PC.
